How To Get Sheep

Spiritfarer Sheep

Although the game never explicitly says you’re allowed to keep sheep on your boat, you have the option to at all times. If you’ve already made it to Mount Toriyama, then you may recall the lost Spirit’s quest that tasks you with bringing them a stray sheep from a nearby island.

Well, once you have completed the quest, you’re free to invite the sheep back onto your boat to stay permanently. To get a sheep to follow you back to your boat, simply walk up to them and select ‘Feed.’ After you give a sheep food, they will start to follow you around the island and will even board your ship.

Once on your boat, sheep will roam freely until you have built a Sheep Corral to house them. Loose sheep are prone to eating your crops, so make it a priority to keep them fed and build Corrals as soon as you can. Aside from providing companionship, sheep will produce wool fiber every time you trim their fur.

How To Unlock ‘Sheep Ranger’ Achievement

Spiritfarer Sheep Ranger Achievement

The ‘Sheep Ranger’ Achievement is unlocked by finding and providing shelter for all 5 sheep.

The fastest way to complete it is to travel to each island listed in the previous section as soon as they become available.

Keep in mind that the cost of building a Sheep Corral goes up each time you make a new one.
