Comfort
First, you’ll notice the product’s shape. It’s a racing-style seat, known for its added comfort during extended periods of sitting.
These products provide greater back support and help distribute pressure throughout the user’s body, instead of putting it all onto the spine.
The inside is filled with high-resilience foam, ensuring that the PL6000 gaming chair will be just as comfortable in a year. The armrests are fully adjustable, too, capable of moving in four directions. This allows you to find the most comfortable spot for your height and shape.
You’ve probably also noticed the adjustable headrest and lumbar support cushion. These are completely removable, and made of the same PVC leather as the chair for a consistent feel.
Appearance
This chair offers more color options than most. The variants are special: not too bright, not too pale. There’s even a camouflaged version, which is a bold and unusual design choice.
There’s nothing particularly unique about this chair’s appearance. We liked that the branding was discreet, rather than displaying a huge multi-colored logo. Vertagear has indented their logo into the headrest.
Also, the casters have a colored trim to match the upholstery. This is a small addition, but it’s a nice touch.
Construction
The PL6000 is one of the most robust chairs present on the market, with a weight limit of 440lbs. Given that most only support around 300lbs, this model is far superior if you’re on the heavier side.
Additionally, it’s comfy for people up to 6’ 8” in height, whereas most gaming chairs out there become a problem at around 6’ or so.
Despite offering advanced features like seat angle adjustment and a reclining backrest, this chair is simple enough to build.
It comes in just a few separate pieces and can be easily assembled. It does weigh about 56lbs, though, so you might need somebody to help hold parts up as you attach them.
